Spinal Fluid Protein
Useful For
Useful For
Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) protein is formed in the choroid plexus of the ventricles of the brain by ultrafiltration of blood plasma. Disorders that result in increased permeability of the choroid plexus and increased protein in the CSF include meningitis, trauma, multiple sclerosis, obstruction neoplasm, disk herniation and cerebral infarction.
