Collection Processing Instructions
Body fluid specimen should be collected in an air-tight syringe. Remove all air bubbles from fluid in syringe immediately after collection. Remove the needle before transporting the sample to the laboratory. 
Alternate specimens: Full 3 mL green or 7 mL red.
Place specimen on cold pack or wet ice and deliver to the laboratory immediately.
Specify source and/or type of body fluid as a test comment.​
