Testing begins with a screening assay. If the screen is positive, then the liquid chromaography-tandem mass spectrometry confirmation with quantification will be performed at an additional charge.
Ethyl Glucuronide, Ethyl Sulfate
is a confirmatory test done by LCMSMS methodology to definitively detect and
quantitate ethyl glucuronide and ethyl sulfate in urine.
Negative results may require further testing based on Mayo algorithm.
