Interference

Human Anti-Murine Antibodies (HAMA) may develop leading to test interference in patients receiving murine-based agents for chemotherapy or tumor-imaging studies.

DHEA supplements may cause falsely elevated Progesterone results around the clinically important decision level of approximately 1 ng/mL of Progesterone.  Recommend to use an alternative method such as liquid chromatography-mass spectroscopy in patients taking DHEA supplements.​
