  • To evaluate Thiamine (Vitamin B1) in whole blood. Deficiency can cause a range of clinical manifestations including poor sleep, malaise, weight loss, irritability and confusion. Sever deficiency may result in Beriberi, Wernicke encephalopathy, Korsakoff's psychosis and Wernicke-Korskoff syndrome.
