Test Components
Analyzes the relative amount of 21, 18, 13, and Y chromosomal material in circulating cell-free DNA from a maternal blood sample.​
Useful For

Pregnant women with increased risk for chromosomal aneuploidy, including one or more of the following: Advanced maternal age, personal/family history of chromosomal abnormalities, fetal ultrasound abnormality suggestive of aneuploidy and/or positive serum screening test.

Collection Processing Instructions

​Contact Lab Specimen Processing at 715-221-6220 or 800-222-5835 to obtain special collection kit and consent form. Form must be signed by both the patient and the clinician.  The sample must be room temperature, ship overnight for Monday-Saturday delivery. 

Patient/Provider signature is required.  If this is not obtained prior to sample collection, the sample will be sent out, but results will not be available until the required signatures are obtained.

THIS IS NOT AVAILABLE TO OUTREACH CLIENTS. Outreach clients must work directly with Sequenom Lab.
